Chronicler — AI-Assisted Clinical Documentation
Therapy Shelf LLC · Technical Cofounder & Full Stack Engineer
-
Challenge
Mental Health clinicians were drowning in paperwork. Trying to compose progress notes, much less high quality progress notes, was inducing stress and eating into time that should've gone to clients. Therapists needed a platform that made it easy to compose comprehensive and helpful progress notes.
-
Approach
I went full stack from the ground up as lead developer, owning architecture, infrastructure, and product direction in lockstep with my clinical cofounder. The result was Chronicler, an AI-assisted note composer that uses AI-powered transcription and generative workflows to turn clinician input into structured documentation in a fraction of the time. Along the way, I also layered in MFA, audit logging, and technical safeguards for a HIPAA compliant AWS production workload.

Developer Portal & API Sandbox
TRX Services LLC · Web Developer Consultant
-
Challenge
Partners integrating with TRX's platform needed a faster on-ramp with more discoverable documentation and a developer sandbox to exercise the functionality of TRX's APIs.
-
Approach
Built a custom Developer Portal, including an interactive API sandbox, backed by secure Go and Node.js APIs running in Docker. Collaborated with ux designers, technical writers, and S.M.E.s to keep docs and interface in sync, and customized Material for MkDocs to make the documentation itself easy to maintain and scale. Along the way, I implemented automatic legacy XML to JSON schema conversion workflows for the API sandbox that allowed TRX Partners to build against the "go forward" JSON API's while minimizing additional work for the TRX engineering org. -

Impact
Smoother partner onboarding, less integration friction, and documentation infrastructure built to scale with the platform.

Developer Portal
Global Payments Integrated · Integration Developer
-
Challenge
Outside developers integrating with Global Payments Integrated previously relied on API docs distributed as versioned pdf files. My task was to build a modern portal where developers could easily discover up-to-date documentation and self-report progress on their integration projects.
-
Approach
I owned the developer portal implementation end-to-end: architecture, front end, content platform, and day-to-day operations. Built out responsive Angular 7/8 components with CLI and SCSS best practices for a clean, maintainable UI, then extended a headless Drupal 8 deployment with custom modules to support specialized integration workflows. Hardened the delivery layer by configuring NGINX for routing, caching, and SSL enforcement, and stayed hands-on with the portal long after launch, driving enhancements and coordinating with stakeholders as requirements changed.

A secure developer portal that kept improving and became the reliable front door for partner integrations.
